On Monday, our band classes were treated to performances by the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra Woodwind Quintet. If you look closely, you might see that two members are our very own lesson teachers, Mr. Hale and Ms. Blanchard!

We spent the last couple of days celebrating our students. “Davis Dash” delivered some well earned lunches and we treated our 25-26 Band Council to Sonic Drinks as a thank you.

The Wortham Beginners had a fantastic time during our field trip to rehearse with the Scoggins Wind Ensemble and celebrate all their hard work at Urban Air today!
Snow balls were thrown, conga lines happened - all in all it was a great day! Make sure to check out these extremely talented students from both Scoggins and Wortham bands at our spring concert this Wednesday at Emerson High School.

Last Friday, Wortham beginning band students enjoyed celebrating all their hard work getting their scales passed off during our ice cream sundae party. There were 9 gallons of ice cream consumed! Even Little Jimmy got in on the action. Thank you to our parent volunteers for helping out and dishing up the best ice cream sundaes!
