Struggling in Nursing School or Preparing for the NCLEX?
If you’re studying hard but still not seeing results, it’s not because you’re not smart — it’s because you haven’t been taught how nursing exams and the NCLEX actually test you.
I help nursing students stop guessing, stop cramming, and start thinking the way the exam requires.
📌 I only take 40 students per month, so I can stay hands-on and results-focused.

Why NCLEX Repeat Takers Are Struggling More Since the NGN Launch
Since the launch of the Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) in April 2023, I’ve noticed a growing trend: repeat test-takers failing multiple times—some as many as 5 to 9 attempts over 1–2 years—before finally passing. What’s behind this cycle?
A major issue is the misunderstanding of how the NGN actually works. Many students and nursing programs are still approaching the NGN the same way they approached the old NCLEX—by drilling question banks and relying on rote memorization.
That strategy no longer works.
The NGN is not about how many questions you can complete—3,000 questions on Archer, Bootcamp, or UWorld won’t guarantee a pass. The NGN is a clinical judgment exam, and passing it requires something deeper than repetition: it requires critical thinking.
I’ve worked with students who had failed the NCLEX multiple times before they came to me. The difference-maker? They stopped memorizing and started learning how to think like a nurse—how to analyze cues, prioritize, and apply nursing knowledge to real scenarios.
So when students ask, “How do I improve my critical thinking?”—my answer is clear:
It starts with mastering your core nursing content and learning how to dissect a question, not just recognize it.
The NGN rewards thinkers, not memorizers.
Let’s stop repeating the same mistakes and start teaching the skills that matter.

Congrats to these hardworking students!!!
Critical Thinking is Learned, Not Memorized!
Do you find yourself memorizing answers to practice questions? Many students do—but when they get to the NCLEX, they realize that memorization alone isn’t enough. The exam isn’t about repeating answers; it’s about applying knowledge and thinking critically to choose the best response.
Instead of just remembering answers, focus on understanding why an answer fits the question. Ask yourself:
What is the question really asking?
What makes this the best choice over others?
How does this apply to real nursing practice?
One tool that has transformed my students' critical thinking is NurzeLUJA, an AI-powered tutor. It doesn’t just give you answers—it guides you through question breakdowns in real time. Plus, I can review students' interactions and provide corrections during class to help fine-tune their reasoning.
