Congratulations to Sreya Pal and Juli McDonald on their best-in-class work this past Summer in GISC 2231 - Advanced Problems in GIS! For their final project, students picked a topic of their choosing on which to analyze, map and report on.
Sreya used Landsat satellite imagery to identify and map wildfire risk zones in the state of Kerala, located within the
ecologically sensitive Western Ghats region of India.
Juli analyzed data from multiple sources to determine where children in Texas are most susceptible to air pollution from
cattle CAFOs.
Great work to both of them!

Congratulations to Juli McDonald and Aaron Skelton on their best-in-class work in GISC 2231 (Advanced Problems in GIS). Students were required to work with hail data provided by the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration to determine which facilities in Frisco, TX were impacted. Nice work Juli and Aaron!
