Cover of โBurnโ from Hamilton
This is one of my favorite songs from Hamilton. So much inner turmoil that Eliza finally allows to bubble out - even if only to herself. The power and vulnerability has drawn me in since the first time I heard it. I hope that I have done it justice. ๐

Here are 7 Vocal Health Tips to keep those pipes in peak condition! ๐ค๐
1. Daily: Drink a minimum of 64 oz of water (2 quarts).
2. Try to refrain from clearing your throat or coughing excessively. This makes the vocal chords hit one another and can damage the voice.
3. Mucus drainage can benefit from gargling with Alkalol, a mucus dissolvent, which will keep the vocal folds clear.
4. Hot herbal tea with honey and lemon is good to sip on for vocal health. Throat Coat Tea is a tried and true tea for many singers.
5. Always warm up your voice before singing. (A quick way to do this would be to do lip trills and a siren sound from low to high and back, not at full voice.)
6. Never drink coffee, alcohol, soda, caffeinated tea, milk, or any sugary drinks before singing. This causes more mucus to accumulate in the throat. Caffeine dries out the vocal tissue, as does alcohol. (This can vary from singer to singer. See what effects you.)
7. When the voice begins to feel tired, STOP singing or talking, and rest for at least 15 minutes before resuming vigorous singing.
Replying to @๐ค Breath support is one of the main keys to staying on pitch!
