The PTA mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. This year, Roach PTA worked to continue that focus on advocacy by sharing information about the PTA Votes campaign and Texas PTA’s Straight Talk Program with our community. 📣 Roach Middle School PE uniforms for 2026-2027 are available for order!

Students enrolled in PE & Strength and Conditioning are required to dress out. This is an easy way to order the correct uniform, and it benefits Roach PTA! Order Link: https://friscosportstx.chipply.com/Roachpeuniforms2026/

💙🐏💛 On Thursday, all our Roach PTA Student Members were given an end of year Thank You gift for joining Roach PTA this year! Our two Student Liaison Board Members assembled and distributed the gifts. We appreciate each and every one of our PTA Student Members! 😍

🐺 8th grade shirts, a gift from PTA, were sent home with 8th graders today, Thursday 5/21! Please wear your class shirt during the 8th grade Final Walk tomorrow, Friday 5/22! 🚶🏫

Please see the following message from RMS for details about the 8th grade Final Walk-

On the last day of school, we have our Final Walk for the 8th grade students. The 8th graders will be led through the halls of Roach one last time while the 6th & 7th grade students and teachers wish them well with signs, cheers, and a few tears. Students will exit the front doors of the school to be greeted by you, their family and friends to send them off to high school! Bring signs, balloons, etc. to cheer your students on to 9th grade! The walk will begin at approximately 3:20, so please plan on being in the front by that time. Parents are NOT allowed inside the building. You will need to meet your student as they exit the front doors. Once students have exited the building, they will not be allowed back inside, so once they have said all of your goodbyes, they are free to go.

Students can wear semi-formal attire & their favorite Sneakers! Enjoy music, dancing, snacks, and a fun night with the 8th grade class!
