This past week, Dr. Mira and several PTA Board members represented Roach Middle School at the Back to School PTA Training hosted by the Frisco Council of PTAs. It was a fantastic way to kick off our PTA year with a variety of training sessions, opportunities for new ideas and collaboration, and a fun night to connect with PTA leaders from across FISD!

What a fun day for the ! Roach PTA kicked off the fun with a luncheon of Newk’s sandwiches & sides for our wonderful staff! The fun continued at Ram Camp with Roach PTA providing the yard sign photo op, PE Uniform pick up, and information about how parents (& students!!!) can join PTA to support our mission to “make every child’s potential a reality!” There’s more fun to come! ⏰Times:
🚶2:30-3:30pm Schedule Walk for returning 7th & 8th Students

👨‍🏫4-4:30pm: Parent Informational Meeting in Cafe for 6th Parents & New to RMS Parents

🎉4-4:30pm: Pep Rally in Gym for 6th Students & New to RMS Students

🚶‍♀️4:30-5:30pm: Schedule Walk for 6th Students/Parents & New to RMS Students/Parents

Important Info:
-Bring your own copy of your schedule (print out or on device) as the school will not be able to look it up for you during Ram Camp
-Classrooms will not be open/Teachers will not be available to meet with students at this time
-PE Uniforms that were Pre-ordered earlier this summer through PTA will be available for pick up in the front hallway
-Athletics/Pre-Athletics Uniforms that were Pre-ordered earlier this summer will be delivered to students during the first week of school
-Please note- schedules may change up until the first day of school as the school continues to accommodate all students and classrooms

It's officially August, which means the countdown to the first day of school is on!

By now, you've likely started receiving back-to-school information from your campus and Frisco ISD. Over the next several days, be sure to keep an eye on your email, your campus website and social media pages for important reminders and updates as we get closer to the first day of school.
