Thursday Morning Blessing ☀️
Today’s Name of GOD:
✨ Jehovah Rapha ✨
The LORD Who Heals
There is freedom in forgiveness.
Forgiving yourself.
Forgiving others.
Forgiving the expectations that never materialized.
Every unreleased expectation becomes a weight.
And every weight eventually asks to be healed.
Today I release the old story.
I release the resentment.
I release the need for life to have unfolded differently.
And I choose wonder.
I choose gratitude.
I choose unconditional love.
May future generations benefit from the healing we choose today.
Jehovah Rapha,
heal our hearts,
heal our families,
heal our legacies,
heal our bloodlines.

The LORD My Shepherd.
People often ask:
“How do I know it’s GOD speaking?”
The answer is relationship.
A mother knows her child’s voice.
A child knows their mother’s voice.
Not because they studied it.
Because they know it.
The same is true with GOD.
Relationship produces recognition.
Spend time with Him.
Talk with Him.
Walk with Him.
And over time, what once felt uncertain becomes familiar.
The goal isn’t to hear a voice.
The goal is to know Him.
👑✨
This is not a judgment.
This is an observation.
Lately, I’ve noticed more conversations where one adult appears to be carrying the majority of the financial, emotional, and household responsibilities while another adult occupies the role of “partner.”
It made me pause and ask a question:
Does this relationship increase capacity, peace, stability, and opportunity for the household?
Or does it create additional dependency?
Partnership is not about who earns more.
Partnership is not about control.
Partnership is about contribution.
Partnership is about stewardship.
Partnership is about building something stronger together than either person could build alone.
Especially when children are watching.
Children learn relationships by observing relationships.
They learn standards by observing standards.
They learn responsibility by observing responsibility.
Before inviting someone into your life, your home, and your children’s lives, ask:
Do they add peace?
Do they add capacity?
Do they add wisdom?
Do they add stability?
Do they add opportunity?
Love is beautiful.
But leadership matters too.
And our children deserve both.
👑✨
Can we stop looking down on single parents?
Not every single parent chose that path.
Some survived loss.
Some survived abandonment.
Some survived divorce.
Some survived abuse.
And sometimes the bravest thing a parent can do is leave a situation that teaches a child that dysfunction is normal.
Children learn what love looks like by watching us.
Today, I celebrate healthy homes.
Homes filled with peace.
Homes filled with safety.
Homes filled with love.
Whether there is one parent or two.
I celebrate the mothers.
I celebrate the fathers.
I celebrate the grandparents.
I celebrate the villages.
And I celebrate every child who is growing up knowing they matter.

Good Morning ☀️

The LORD Is My Shepherd
Many of us are carrying pressure that was never ours to carry.
Trying to know every answer.
Trying to control every outcome.
Trying to see the entire path.
But a shepherd leads.
And sheep follow.
Today, instead of asking:
“How am I going to do all of this?”
Ask:
“GOD, what is my next best step?”
The Shepherd knows the way.
Take the next step.
Peace over pressure.
Wisdom over worry.
Faith over fear.
👑✨
Who were you before the world told you who to be?
Before the titles.
Before the responsibilities.
Before the expectations.
Many of us have spent years becoming everything for everyone else.
Perhaps the next chapter isn’t about becoming someone new.
Perhaps it’s about remembering.
Remembering the dreamer.
Remembering the creator.
Remembering the child who believed anything was possible.
Today, spend a few moments with yourself.
Not the role.
Not the title.
You.
👑✨
Good Morning ☀️
Today’s Name of GOD:
✨ Jehovah Shalom ✨
The LORD Is Peace
A peaceful life is not something we stumble into.
It is something we cultivate.
One thought at a time.
One prayer at a time.
One act of gratitude at a time.
Today, I am choosing to believe:
Everything is working in my favor.
Everything is aligning for my highest good.
Greatness lives within me.
Joy belongs to me.
Peace belongs to me.
My prayer for you:
May your home be filled with laughter.
May your children be filled with wonder.
May your heart be filled with gratitude.
And may you have the audacity to expect good things.

🚨 PSA FOR PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, AUNTS, UNCLES, COACHES, COUNSELORS, AND COMMUNITY 🚨
As summer camps, Juneteenth celebrations, pool parties, and July 4th gatherings fill our calendars, I want to remind you of something:
Trust your instincts.
If someone puts your child on their lap and it makes you uncomfortable, remove your child.
If someone crosses a boundary, address it.
If something feels off, pay attention.
Our children deserve bodily autonomy.
Our children deserve to know:
“You can say no.”
“You do not have to hug anyone.”
“You do not have to sit on anyone’s lap.”
“You can always tell a trusted adult if someone makes you uncomfortable.”
And adults?
Let’s help create safe spaces.
Respect children’s boundaries.
Ask permission.
Model appropriate behavior.
Protect peace.
Protect innocence.
Protect trust.
Today, my prayer is for safe homes, safe communities, safe camps, safe classrooms, and safe gatherings.
May our children know they are heard.
May they know they are protected.
May they know their voice matters.
And may parents trust the wisdom GOD placed inside them.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
I voted today.
And it reminded me of that person who asks where you want to eat… and then chooses what they wanted anyway. 😂
But here’s the thing:
Did that stop you from having an opinion?
Did that stop you from exercising your capacity to choose?
The power was never in controlling every outcome.
The power is in showing up.
The power is in participating.
The power is in using your voice.
Every choice becomes a vote:
A vote for your future.
A vote for your health.
A vote for your family.
A vote for your peace.
A vote for your dreams.
People who maintain their peace continue participating.
Keep choosing.
Keep believing.
Keep showing up.
Hope is an action.
