This month we are proud to present our Alumni Spotlight, Elizabeth Swindell. Elizabeth graduated from Frisco High School in 2018 and attends the University of Mississippi. She is currently working toward her master's in public health. She is a Mensa member, Miss Mississippi/Miss America Organization local titleholder, Memphis Showboats cheerleader and an instructor at the University of Mississippi. Elizabeth is also currently preparing for law school!

Her advice to graduating seniors is to "be involved on your college campus. I always love the mantra that states that you should aim to join one organization or club that has to do with your major, and one that is out of your comfort zone."

Fun fact- Elizabeth just published a children's book titled Two Sandwiches: Make One, Give One. Check it out here: https://www.amazon.com/Two-Sandwiches-Make-One-Give/dp/B0CTG36TJK

His biggest pieces of advice to graduating seniors is to "be involved in activities related to your college. Have fun and enjoy it all!"

This month we are proud to feature Conor Schoeneberg (Wakeland class of '18) & Adrian Rivera (Lone Star class of '20) as our Alumni Spotlight! Conor and Adrian both attend A&M University. Conor is studying mathematics for business with a minor in physics, and Adrian is studying architecture. While at A&M they formed/joined a band, Kitsch. On Saturday, March 2nd, their band released their first single on Spotify/Apple Music. They'll be releasing 2 more songs in the coming weeks. Their piece of advice to graduating seniors would be ~ "It's perfectly normal to not have your life and career path figured out at 18 years old! We both changed our majors since we started at A&M, and can say we aren't doing what we thought we'd be doing by this point. We especially didn't anticipate starting a band and taking it as seriously as we are. But our band gives us a massive sense of fulfillment we can't get anywhere else. So don't be afraid to go off the beaten path and follow your passions, as long as you work hard. You don't want ever want to wonder, "what if...?"
