From serving students and supporting families to mentoring youth and advocating for our community, my commitment has never been about words alone. It has always been about action ✨.

Today was a special day as we celebrated some of the incredible students in our I AM VALUABLE mentoring program! These young people have demonstrated growth, perseverance, leadership, and a commitment to becoming the best versions of themselves.

Every achievement deserves to be recognized, and today we honored students who continue to show that when you know your worth, there is no limit to what you can accomplish.

To our students: Keep believing in yourselves, keep working hard, and keep shining. We are proud of you and excited to see all that you will achieve in the future!

“I am valuable, yes it’s true. There’s nothing that I cannot do!”

The June primaries are complete and we're now five months away from the November 3 general election 🗳️. I’m looking forward to continuing my work in Area 1, connecting with neighbors, and sharing information about the importance of civic participation 🌟. Every voice matters, and every vote matters. Together, we can help shape the future of our community💛.

Serving as a Children’s Ministry Leader at On Ramps Covenant Church gave me the opportunity to invest in the lives of young people and help them grow academically, socially, and spiritually 💛. This student is one of many who has been impacted through the lessons, guidance, and encouragement I have provided ✨.

It is especially meaningful that she also attends my alma mater, Computech Middle School 🐯. As a dedicated advocate for youth and a change agent in our community, I remain committed to making a positive difference in the lives of students both inside and outside of the classroom 💛✨.

To my community and supporters:
I will not appear on the June 2nd primary ballot, but I WILL be on the November 3rd General Election ballot for Fresno Unified School Board Trustee Area 1.

However, there are candidates that need your vote for the June 2nd Primary Election. Your local elections matter!!! Individuals who are running for government office manage billion dollar budgets and decide which programs, initiatives, policies, and many other things get funded and passed. They also decide which groups of people have access to resources.

So I encourage you more now than ever to please get out and vote. Your community and most importantly the children are depending on your vote. Together we can create real change!!!

This campaign is bigger than politics. It’s about our students, our families, and creating real change in our community. Change is needed, and I’m the change agent ready to make it happen.

My son made a video sharing why he supports me and believes in my leadership💛. He’s watched the work I’ve done in our community, the commitment I have to students and families, and the passion I carry for creating positive change🌟.

Being a leader in the community is important to me, but being an example for my children means even more ✨.
