Director of Laval EMP Transition ✨

The Laval Entrepreneur Mentor Program is taking applications right now for Fall 2021!
This program is a great opportunity to build your professional skills, portfolio, and network. EMP provides students from ALL disciplines the opportunity to build impactful relationships with Central Valley business leaders.
Through weekly Friday forums, EMP students have access to lessons and insights of successful, local entrepreneurs. Students gain professional experience and networking know-how through social gatherings, skill-development opportunities and behind-the-scenes tours of some of the Central Valley’s most successful businesses.
Students in the Laval Entrepreneur Mentor Program are matched one-on-one with a mentor that best suits their area of interest. However, participants have access to all mentors, with an opportunity to receive guidance for years after they graduate from the program.
Develop 5 entrepreneurial skills:
Vision
Selling
Networking
Leadership
Team building

EMP Alum, Caden Jones joined our Zoom session this past Friday with a big smile and full of energy. During her time at Fresno State, she had her mind set on becoming the CEO of a major company. As a junior, she interned at PepsiCo and was offered a position after she graduated. She loves leadership and dressing up so working there matched her perfectly. She identifies herself as being an intrapreneur which is a manager in a company who promotes innovative product development and marketing. She’s since left PepsiCo and has been happier working with a small start-up company called Wonderful. We learned that Caden was highly motivated and always looking forward to each new phase of her life. That is why she values internships as it helps introduce students to a taste of life after college. Setting the mindset that you can have more than what you think you can get will help propel the students forward.
