The past few weeks have been especially heavy for BIPOC folx. If you are in need of an affinity space where we can tend to our pain in safer community circles, please join us for a hike.

Healing Hikes is a community for BIPOC women, femmes, and nonbinary/gender-diverse folx to connect and cultivate healing together in nature.

Carpenter-Ridgeway Park
(Park and meet at Robin Roberts Baseball Field)

Carpenter-Ridgeway Park offers an accessible paved trail as well as various dirt trails. We will evaluate the safety of those trails and take a hike that meets everyone's accessibility needs.
Karen will reach out about a week before with additional details and transportation coordination.

Join us for a hike to explore Doris Lake and then soak your muscles in the warm pools at Mono Hot Springs.

Last minute notice but we are coming together for a Friends y Familia Healing Hike open to loved ones of our BIPOC Women and Gender nonconforming friends on Sunday, May 22 at Whiskey Falls!

Saturday, May 28 will be our BIPOC Women hike at the Wuh-Ki’o Trail along the San Joaquin River!

Join us for a special hike this month as we close out the year right here in Fresno with a walk along the river and bluffs of Woodward Park and a gentle yoga session to follow.

We’ll be meeting at the Art of Life Healing Garden/Ft. Washington Parking lot at 9AM on Sunday, December 19th. We’ll take the Thomas MacMichael Sr. Trail heading Northeast and then looping back down along the river. Then we can grab mats or blankets and find a grassy spot to flow.

Carpooling is still available from my house if you’d like to avoid the parking fee or just to enjoy a short drive together!

Come for the hike, come for the yoga, or come for both. We’ll be so glad to see you!

This will be a short, easy hike with a moderate incline at Bass Lake, located about an hour away from Fresno.

Join us for our next hike on Saturday, September 25 at 9AM! We’re heading to Shaver Lake for an easy hike and some forest bathing (meditation practice - no swimsuit required). Hope to see you on the trail!

Our first “Healing Hike” was so beautiful, in every way.
I felt my spirit filled by the height of the mountains and echo of our laughter through the valley.
