We are excited to announce that our next fundraiser will be a birthday party for Lance Omeje, our president and founder. This will be a drop-in event in Fresno on Saturday, May 2nd, with doors open from 3-7 pm. There will be food, beverages, and last but not least - cake!

Please RSVP by responding at the link below by April 25th. The suggested donation is $50 and can be paid beforehand by clicking the link or mailing a check to the address below. Checks and cash will also be accepted at the door (just please RSVP). If making the donation before the event, please note "Birthday Party" in the memo.

Around 2,000 books were delivered to the school!! Thank you to Scholastic for donating the books ranging from nursery to seventh grade level. The books will remain in the appropriate classrooms until we have a proper library. Here's to growing the passion for reading!

Fetching water from a distance is no longer necessary for the people in Abiya Village. Especially the children of Ibeneneka Learning Community Center. The water taps are accessible at the school site. The students, parents and the staff members wish to convey their gratitude to the generous donations from the USA that helped too facilitate the project, in their own words, "we are very happy even the insects are happy" - Lance
