UMÓⁿHOⁿ Nation Public Schools has a 7 acre garden where students work in the summer to grow food for the community, process some of it to sell at the school store. Growing thier own food provides a great education, and has a powerful impact on the mindsets of the entire community. I love locally grown foods, and when it’s grown by the students I admire, I happy dance with joy!

Our Uncle Ron Johnson is amazing. My brother Dale and I struggled to keep up with his pace of work as he layed new vinyl plank flooring at the ranch.

We learned so much by being around him.

At 91, he’s one of my role models for work ethic and craftmenship. It is a joy to be around someone who is a master at his craft.

Back home to keep dreaming big, living tall, fueled up by the beauty of the SW, to do my part in making the world 🌎 better!

In Nebraska we have a town of 1, called Monowi. I stopped by to wish her a belated happy birthday, Elise is 90 and going strong!

I love this time of year, fall for me marks the seasons. A sacred reminder things are changing. Let’s be intentional as we bridge into the future we are creating together. Grateful to be in this season with all of you!
