Marvel Research Program: High School Research Opportunity
———

Background: The Marvel Research Program is an institute made of people devoted to helping high schoolers create novel research. Our staff consists of graduate students from Columbia, MIT, and UoA, working professionals from Amazon & Microsoft, and undergraduate students from Northeastern, Stony Brook, and UC Berkeley. This program is entirely remote and will run for the majority of the Fall 2023 semester.
———

Our Fall 2023 cohort application and website are officially live! This fall, we will be offering the following courses:

- Our flagship Research Program, where students innovate with us and aim to create interdisciplinary, publish-worthy projects at the intersection of computer science/data science

- Our Introduction to Python and Data Science course, for students who have little to no background with data science and would like an introduction to the field (also serves as a segway into the Research Program for students with little programing background)

- Our USACO and Leetcode Prep bootcamp, where students can prepare for important coding competitions for high school, such as USACO

- Our "How to Publish Your Research" 4 week seminar, where students will have time with instructors to explore different pathways on how to get their novel projects out in public so that their work can make an impact
