What is Together 4 Fremont?

We are people of Fremont who share common values of inclusivity, equity, access, and antiracism. We do the right thing even when its hard.

The Immigration Stories Series has opened up a conversation about what it means to be an immigrant in our community. How can we become a more inclusive community? How can we break down barriers in an effort to provide access for all? How do we make sure everyone is able to get the supports they need to succeed? Hearing stories from those who have different experiences helps us all have a better understanding of what barriers exist. We are one community and we are all stronger together.

Thanks to all those who have shared their stories and will share their stories in the coming months. You are an inspiration to us and you give us all hope for a better future.

If you are interested in participating in the Welcoming communities, please sign up to get on the contact list at tinyurl.com/T4F-WC

Last night was a lot of fun and very informative. Thanks to the amazing panelists and audience members for making it a great night.

This evening Together 4 Fremont hosted Immigration Stories, a community conversation that brought together Evelyn Martinez, Veronica Sandoval, Mandy Montante Gonzalez, and Antonio Lopez to share powerful personal perspectives on immigration. The panel reflected a wide range of lived experiences — from second-generation citizens to newer immigrants — highlighting the diversity within Fremont’s Latino community. Each speaker offered meaningful insights shaped by their deep local connections, helping attendees better understand the realities, challenges, and contributions surrounding immigration while fostering dialogue, education, and community engagement.
