Week-1 The Walton County Farm Bureau player of the week is Mason Arnold. He exemplified what it means to be a team player this past week. When one of his teammates went down due to injury, he filled in that gap by playing a position he has never played before. Not only did he fill that spot but performed at a high level during the game. Congratulations Mason.

The result wasn’t what we wanted, but there’s plenty to be excited about. Those early-game jitters and mistakes might have been different if we’d had a Kickoff Classic to shake them off—but once the Bulldogs found their footing, we saw a lot of fight and promise on all phases of the game.

The FTDC would like to thank our incredible fans, cheerleaders, Sunshine Band, volunteers, and sponsors for making Freeport Bulldog Friday Night Lights something special.

We’ll regroup, get back to work, and head to North Bay Haven next Friday!
