🚚🤖 Help Freeland Robotics Get Back on the Road! 💚🖤

Freeland Robotics is raising funds to purchase a new trailer to replace the one that was destroyed by the tornado. 🌪️ The trailer is an essential part of our team, helping us safely transport our robot, equipment, tools, and supplies to competitions and events throughout the season.

🎯 Our goal is to raise $6,000 toward the new trailer, and we are incredibly fortunate to have a generous community member who has offered to match every donation dollar-for-dollar, up to $3,000! 🤝

🎉☀️ What a way to wrap up Summer Rec with Tittabawassee Township! 🤖💚

The End of Summer Bash was the perfect finale to an amazing season of STEM, creativity, and community fun!

Throughout the day, kids raced boats 🚤, explored coding with Ozobots 🤖, created custom buttons 🎨, took aim with our T-shirt cannon 👕🚀, and climbed behind the controls of our robots. Watching their curiosity grow with every activity is exactly why we love bringing STEM into our community.

A huge thank you to Tittabawassee Township for inviting the Freeland Fabricators to be part of the Summer Rec Park Program. We loved spending Wednesdays with our amazing community!

✨ We saved the biggest finale for last! 🎉🤖💚

Our final visit to Camp Fish Tales was one to remember, and we definitely went out with a BANG! 💥

From racing boats 🚤 and programming Ozobots 🤖 to designing custom buttons 🎨, launching the T-shirt cannon 👕🚀, and giving campers the chance to drive our robots, the day was filled with nonstop STEM adventures, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

While we hope the campers had as much fun as we did, the truth is... we're the lucky ones.

✨ Alumni Spotlight: Elizabeth Hedlund ('22) 💚🤖

As we continue celebrating the amazing accomplishments of our alumni, we're excited to spotlight Elizabeth Hedlund, a proud member of the Class of 2022!

During her four years with the Freeland Fabricators, Elizabeth was an active member of our Fundraising/Sponsorship and Awards teams. Before joining FRC, she also participated in FTC during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

One of her favorite robotics memories? Celebrating her birthday with her teammates while attending a Houston Astros game during the FIRST World Championship—a memory she'll never forget! ⚾🎉

Today, Elizabeth is putting her creativity to work as a Marketing Intern at Tri City Blinds right here in Freeland.

When asked why students should consider joining robotics, Elizabeth shared:
"You make lots of friends and memories, but you also learn a ton of valuable skills that you will use in your day-to-day life."

Thank you, Elizabeth, for representing Team 5166 long after graduation! We love seeing where robotics takes our alumni. 💚

🤖🎪 What a fun day at Tittabawassee Township Summer Rec Circus Day! 🎉

The Freeland Fabricators had an amazing time sharing the excitement of STEM and robotics with so many curious kids! From hands-on STEM activities to driving robots, it was incredible to see creativity, problem-solving, and smiles all around.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn, explore, and join in the fun. We love inspiring the next generation of innovators!

✨ Back for another unforgettable week at Camp Fish Tales! 🎣🤖💚

There is something truly special about this place. We came to share our love of STEM and robotics, but once again, we left with so much more.

The smiles, laughter, and excitement we experienced this week are memories we'll carry with us long after camp ends.

We are the lucky ones. 🖤💚 Thank you, Camp Fish Tales, for welcoming the Fabricators back for another unforgettable experience. We already can't wait to see everyone again!

We're having an amazing time with the kids at Tittabawassee Township Park Days! 🤖💚🖤

The Freeland Fabricators have loved spending Wednesdays sharing the excitement of robotics and STEM with our community! From robot driving challenges to hands-on STEM activities , it's been so much fun learning and creating together.

Last week's Beach Day was a splash! 💦⛵ We built boats with the kids and cheered them on during exciting boat races.

We can't wait to be back again this Wednesday for more STEM fun, robots, and hands-on adventures! Come join us!💚🖤
