FASD Fredericksburg Area Speech and Debate Speech and Debate: Equipping students with forensic and communication skills, so they may act in service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

FASD has a mission to unite parents in equipping our students with forensic and communication skills, so they may think critically and communicate effectively in service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. FASD is affiliated with NCFCA (ncfca.org) and is a competitive speech and debate club for Christian students 13-18 years old. FASD meets weekly on Monday evenings beginning in the fall and alt

ernately after tournaments during the spring competition season. Parents are expected to attend club with their student/s in order to assist in critiquing and to work together in running the club. Fees: $120 (first student), $70 (second student)

Dress code: We ask that all members dress in corporate casual attire for our meetings. At tournaments, students are required to wear professional attire (suits). Younger siblings often stay during the meetings. When interest exists, we organize a Juniors Club especially for them.
