💚 Learning Through Play at SADA! 🎲

At SADA, purposeful learning starts with a clear plan. Our teachers use organized, color-coded lesson plans and visual daily routines to create structure while keeping learning engaging and play-based.

For our students with special needs, learning through play provides meaningful opportunities to build communication, social, cognitive, motor, and independence skills—all while meeting each child where they are. 🧩✨

📚 Evidence-based practice supports play-based learning as an effective way for young children to develop skills through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

At SADA, we believe learning should be intentional, individualized, and fun! 💚

🎶 Meet Our New Music & Movement Therapist! 💚

We’re so excited to welcome Danielle Cavazos, MAT, MT-BC to SADA! 🌿🎵

Danielle is a Licensed and Board-Certified Music Therapist and the co-owner of Tidewater Music Therapy. She brings an incredible background in music education, teaching, and music therapy, along with experience working with children and adults with a wide variety of needs and diagnoses.
She became a music therapist in 2020 and has worked with individuals with autism, developmental delays, physical disabilities, cancer, dementia, and more. She has also completed specialized NICU Music Therapy training and is continuing her training in Neurologic Music Therapy.

We are thrilled that Danielle will be visiting SADA to provide music and movement therapy for our kiddos! 🎶🕺💚

Music can be such a powerful way to encourage communication, connection, movement, self-expression, engagement, and joy—and we can’t wait to see our SADA family experience it firsthand!
