π This is what Girls on the Run is all about! πββοΈβ¨
The 5K may be the finish line, but the confidence, friendships, perseverance, and life skills our girls build along the way are what make this program so special. πͺ
We are so excited to have Girls on the Run back at Franklinton Elementary for another season and canβt wait to watch another group of FES girls learn, grow, encourage one another, and discover just how much they are capable of! ππΎ
Registration for our Fall 2026 season is OPEN NOW! Be sure to check out our pinned post for registration information.
She started the season quiet. She rarely spoke up in class and often avoided challenges.
But week after week at Girls on the Run, something began to change.
She started contributing during team discussions.
She pushed herself when things felt hard.
She began believing in herself.
And at the 5K, she crossed the finish line smiling. Later sharing that she βdidnβt think she could do itβ before joining Girls on the Run.
Her teachers noticed the difference, too. Increased participation in class, improved confidence in her academic work, and stronger peer relationships.
This is the impact a school can make by saying yes to Girls on the Run. Because the 5K is just one day. The real transformation happens week after week.
If you're a principal, teacher, counselor, or school leader wondering whether Girls on the Run could be a good fit for your school, we'd love to talk.
