Phew! What a busy month July is! How is everyone doing on getting things checked off of your summer bucket list?

Our co-op planning and scheduling meeting is just a few short weeks away. If you plan to join us for co-op this fall, please RSVP to the Planning and Scheduling Meeting on August 5th. If you can't make it, let Amanda know (text 414-737-7151) so we can make plans to get things squared away to ensure a smooth start to the co-op year.

6/24 PARK DAY UPDATE!!

It looks like the rain will be ending (for awhile, anyway) soon, but Im going to go ahead and cancel today's Park Day at the Sheridan Park Pool on account of everything being wet and soggy.

We will be heading to the Greenfield Library at about 11:00 if anyone wants to join us. It's right across the road from Konkel Park on 51st and Layton, so fairly central for everyone.

Stay dry, everyone! I hope to see a few of you there!

Tomorrow, 6/24, we have a scheduled park day at the Sheridan Park Pool in Cudahy at 11AM. However, Im seeing reports of rain and storms tomorrow morning into the afternoon (basically, a repeat of last week).
We will look at the weather again in the morning and post here if we decide to cancel. *IF* we do cancel meeting at the park, we might plan to go to a local library to hang out for a bit. We will let you know!

Due to the rain and expected storms all day, we are canceling Park Day at the Whitnall Park Beer Garden. Keep an eye out for the next Park Day announcement. Stay dry, everyone!!

This Wednesday, June 17 at 11AM, we are having a park day at the Whitnall Park Beer Garden. If you missed the information meeting last week, but would still like info about our fall co-op, a park day is a great opportunity to talk to us!

However, it does look like there's a chance of storms. We will be watching over the next couple of days, so if we do cancel, come back to this FB page and double check before you leave!! We hope to meet some new homeschool families at the park!!

This Wednesday, June 3 at 11:00AM, we are having a fun park day meet up at Kids Cove Playground in Racine. Even if you are not part of CHESS, you are still invited to come play, have snacks, and meet some of our families.

What to bring: a snack or drink to share (if you want), a camp chair and dry clothes in case the kids want to go to the lake to "get their feet wet" (we know that getting wet rarely stops at the feet).

As of now, the weather looks nice (72° and sunny), but if we need to cancel for rain or any other reason, we will come back to this FB page and let everyone know.

Blasting off into summer with a pizza party and bottle rockets!! Our kiddos enjoyed being scientists and working to figure out the correct baking soda and vinegar ratio to make their rockets fly high!

We are grateful for the families we were able to engage with in our second year as a co-op!

We look forward to continuing friendships and making new friends in September!
