🛡️ LEVEL 3: SUMMER TEAM-BUILDING DAY 2026

Today, training looked a little different. 😎

Our Level 3 Legends headed to Loon Mountain for a day of zip lining, the Ninja Wild course, and team building.

Because sometimes the best way to practice courage is to stand on a platform high above the ground and take the next step anyway. 😂

These days aren’t just about having fun.

They’re about doing something uncomfortable.

Encouraging the person beside you, trusting yourself, trying something you haven’t done before.

And creating the kind of shared experiences that turn a group of kids into a team.

Martial arts gives us a training ground.

But Real-Life Hero Training™ was never meant to stay there.

Listening Is a Skill. So We Practice It.

Tonight I caught myself smiling.

Not because someone broke a board.

Not because someone learned a new kick.

But because I watched a child do something they couldn’t do a few weeks ago… and this time, they didn’t even hesitate.

They just stepped forward and did it. That’s my favorite part of teaching. Not the martial arts.

Watching a kid slowly replace “I can’t” with “yes I can.”

It doesn’t happen all at once.

It happens one class…
One challenge…
One small win at a time.

Then one day you realize…

They’re not just learning martial arts anymore.

They’re becoming someone who believes they can do hard things. 🧡

Tonight in Dragonflies, we talked about a simple idea:

Where you look is where you’ll go. Everything you do starts with a look.

When you walk to the door, what do you do first? You look.

When you reach for the doorknob? You look.

When you walk to your car? You look.

When you want something to eat? You look.

When you want to turn left? You look.

Right? You look.

When you’re riding your bike and want to go straight… Where do you look?

Straight ahead.

What happens if you keep looking to the right?

Soon enough, that’s where you’ll end up.

Then we talked about something bigger.

What if your goal is earning your next PowerBand? What do you have to do first? Look at it. Think about it. Pay attention to it.

Because every goal begins by looking toward it. The same is true outside the PowerfulKids Training Grounds.

If you keep looking for reasons you can’t… You’ll probably find them.

If you keep looking for problems… You’ll notice more problems.

But if you look for opportunities to grow…Ways to help… Chances to be brave Moments to practice…

That’s the direction your life begins to move.

Where you look is where you’ll go.

For the next eight weeks, your child will attend one 30-minute Hero Training™ class each week at The PowerfulKids Training Grounds™. Choose Tuesday or Thursday each week, whichever works best for your family’s schedule.
