Whether it be basic steps, transitions, putting together combinations, or simply the "language" of tap, I'd love to comfort the jittery nerves of eager auditioners by helping them learn HOW to learn. Are you a musical theatre actor who gets a lump in their throat when the words "bring tap shoes" are included in casting breakdowns? Be honest, now ;)
I'd like to start a series called "TAP THERAPY w
ith Jeremy", geared toward helping those who PANIC at tap auditions. This will be a great class for those who have done tap shows, picked up their tap skills from executing the choreography within those shows, and want to branch out to a wider tap vocabulary. Classes will be 1 hour OR 1 & 1/2 hours in length, pending on class size and room availability. LOCATION: Locations will change, and times and locations will be organized and set via this page. I will confirm the size of class through replies to announced class times and then post the time and locations of group classes at least three days in advance. PRIVATE CLASSES:
Private sessions will be $60 for the hour, plus the cost of the studio. LOCATION: I like to do same day reservations at studio spaces to substantially cut down on studio prices. For example, and $30 room at Ripley is $14 if you book it "same-day". I also have special rates for double privates (you and a friend). Just private message me for details. Thanks guys! I can't wait to see how this turns out. This will be a great prep class for upcoming auditions, and for taking classes around the city (STEPS, BDC, etc)
