For those interested in the work we are currently involved in, look at the page below.
We are involved in the Missionoceanwaters project, OLAMUR, which tackles the challenges associated with the increasing demand for marine space across various sectors. This project showcases how industries like aquaculture can produce sustainable products with minimal environmental impact. Additionally, it highlights the potential for other sustainable energy sectors, such as wind farms, to utilise the space between turbines effectively. This approach helps fulfil our needs for both food and energy.

It's been a long time since we've posted anything on this page. Mainly because we have been busy on other projects.
The EDinAqua programme has taken a backseat and we have been discussing on how to make it even better, offering more for all those interested in wanting to make a change and impact for all our environments.
In considering some opportunities, we are looking at potential partners for a new project.
If you want to learn more, please look at this site and let us know if this would be interesting to you. Ideally, we welcome interests from local or international educational organisations focused on environmental education and community outreach.
We want to work with our communities and create 'greener pathways' for all!

This week Missionoceanwaters project Olamur_eu has been part of the which was organised jointly by European Aquaculture Society - EAS - Student Group and World Aquaculture Society it’s been a busy but very good week connecting with the community, meeting long time friends and engaging with new connections. A lot of interest in the project and great to have so many of our partners here in .
On a personal note, it was great to bump into some of my great connections from the US and that have also inspired me and provided me with opportunities to excel in my career.
My mentor Tim Visel, from New Haven, Connecticut former aquaculture founder-and coordinator at and dear friend, and Dave Cline from Auburn University who has been a real backbone during my time as an educator Bridgeport Aquaculture (BRASTEC) and still inspiring me.

Thank you to all our followers.
It has been quite a year, on many levels. Lot of changes, on a personal as well as professional level; making hard decisions and looking back, it was the best, inspite of challenges along the way.
Taking on a new role and being part of an exciting project Olamur_eu has been a positive experience and so much learning along the way! 🤓
Exploring Diversity in Aquaculture has been an idea that developed into an exciting programme that really focuses on the word ‘diversity’. It began by creating more interest especially for young girls in this ‘diverse’ field, offering opportunities through STEM applied concepts; it’s more than just ‘fish farming’!…now this word ‘diversity’ has gone farther to create awareness of the scope of this field to provide solutions for the many gaps that exist in our natural world and to secure our future dependence on sustainable seafood, sustainable energy and better livelihoods for many that rely on this business as an income. Many solutions which also, address the UN SustainableGoals
Missionoceanwaters has set the challenge to ‘protect and restore the oceans and waters by 2030’…its not really that far off. But through a collective action each can do their part, no matter how small. Olamur is developing ways to reduce the impacts on our oceans by demonstrating that and can co-exist and be part of the solution. Follow this page to learn more…
The outlook for Exploring Diversity in Aquaculture looks promising. The idea has grown and next will be to offer this programme to provide education and training to teachers, so they too will be better prepared to educate young people in the science of aquaculture and the opportunities this growing sector can offer them, alongside other industries…watch this space!😉
We want to acknowledge that in this diverse community, we celebrate the richness of our collective experiences. Regardless of individual backgrounds, beliefs, or traditions, this season serves as a time for unity, reflection, and shared moments.
As we approach the end of the year, we want to take a moment to express our warmest Season's Greetings and extend our best wishes for the upcoming New Year to each one of you and your loved ones.
Thank you for being part of our community. Looking forward to another year of inspiration, collaboration, and opportunities that will drive the wave of change forwards!🌊
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a Hopeful and Happy New Year!🕊️
