Hi my friends, I am collecting for a local family with several children in dire need. The parents are dealing with unemployment and significant medical issues. Trying to help them have the nicest Christmas possible given their situation. I would love to have their heat and electric covered for the remainder of the winter. Thank you Holst family! And all of you who have supported FLRF..we were able to donate an additional $1000.00. We were blessed to have the Holst family contribute $1508.00 raised by Nils and Sylvia, themselves. In Lieu of gifts for their bday they asked for donations to support the Moonachie First Aid and Rescue Squad. Their building, equipment and supplies are still not back to "pre-sandy" levels. Although we were able to give 2500 dollars they still need a additional support. There is still so much to be done and they need support beyond their immediate community.
