The purpose of the FCPS Accountability Project has never been revenge, harassment, or division. It is accountability, transparency, and improvement.
I have been outspoken because I believe public institutions should be able to withstand scrutiny, answer difficult questions, correct mistakes, and learn from the people they serve. Criticism of government actions, policies, decisions, and leadership is not the same thing as hatred toward the people who live and work in this community.
I do not want Franklin to fail. I want Franklin to succeed.
I hope we can eventually set aside personal disagreements, political divisions, defensiveness, and old conflicts long enough to recognize that we ultimately share many of the same interests: safe schools, competent leadership, responsible use of public resources, respect for civil rights, opportunities for our children, and a community people are proud to call home.
Accountability should not require choosing sides. If something is wrong, we should be able to identify it. If someone gets something wrong, including me, we should be willing to correct the record. If something is working, we should acknowledge that too.
This page will continue to discuss matters of legitimate public concern, including government decisions, education, disability rights, public records, policies, spending, and institutional accountability. My goal is to rely on documentation, public records, firsthand evidence, and clearly identified opinion rather than rumors or personal attacks.
I also do not support threats, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or retaliation against ANYONE discussed here.
Franklin has had enough division. I genuinely hope the next chapter is not about who “won” the fight, but whether the community learned enough from it to build something better.
Not better for one faction. Not better for one family. Not better for one political group.
Better for all.
