We had our Christmas celebration today because we will not be meeting next week. A few of our folks were not with us because of illness. Deb made a huge meal of lasagna, tossed salad, garlic bread and desert. Our guests received a beautiful ornament made out of scrabble tiles with their names on them. They love to play scrabble. Thank you to all our dedicated helpers who make this space so special.

Can it really be?

One year ago we opened the doors to Lucy’s Quiet Place.

To celebrate we asked our clients what they wanted to eat.

Pizza and wings and cake.

Thank you to Shane Rowley for making us a feast of pizza and wings.

Our guests led us in song.



When we asked what can we do to improve.

They responded, “Make every day Tuesday!”

They love to come and hate to leave.

We had a very nice Christmas Party this past week. We were missing a few of our regular guests, but we had a wonderful time with awesome food! Everyone went home with a present and wishes of a Happy New Year. We are on a two week break and will come back in the New Year!
