Cannot say how proud I am of these musicians! Tonight this group went to Lexington and auditioned for senior high All-State Choir. It’s a rigorous, nerve-wracking process with LOTS of extra rehearsing, but they stepped up to the challenge and crushed it!

Busy last couple of days for FHS Choir! On Thursday 7 young musicians (one missing from photo) spent the day at EKU for the annual Choral Day, singing with over 500 other high schoolers!

Today we had our first performance as an ensemble this semester as we sang at the luncheon for the KSU Presidential inauguration. (Thanks to Dr. Satterly for the photo!)

Very proud of the high work ethic I’ve seen in these students this week. Great musicians, even better people. 💙🧡

Bluegrass Choral Music Festival! Proud of these wonderful young musicians for giving up their Saturday to come and sing all day at the University of Kentucky with hundreds of other high school students from across the state. 💙

So proud of these FHS choir seniors at our spring concert tonight! They are each such gems and I’m sad I only got to know them for a short while. Wish I could keep them 4 more years! 💙🧡
