Communication is more than just what we say, it’s how we connect, lead, listen, and build trust.
Today, our Emerging Leaders Professional Development Class welcomed Katie Neal with Katie Neal Coaching +Consulting for an engaging session focused on Communicating with Confidence.
Katie challenged our participants to think about how they show up in conversations, how they communicate with intention, and how strong communication skills can make a difference in both their professional and personal lives.
One of the goals of our Emerging Leaders program is to give rising leaders practical tools they can take back to the workplace and put into action, and today’s session did exactly that.

We kicked off our Emerging Leaders Professional Development Series with a great turnout and an even better conversation about where leadership truly begins-with yourself.

A special thank you to John Phillips of IMPACT Leadership Solutions LLC for leading our first session, “Lead Yourself First.” John challenged our Emerging Leaders to think about self-awareness, accountability, and the importance of leading ourselves well before we can effectively lead others.

The session wrapped up with an interactive activity that gave participants the opportunity to put what they learned into practice, and have a little fun along the way!

The Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new Professional Development Series designed to help employees at all levels grow their skills, expand their knowledge, and advance their careers.

The cost is $50 for members for all 5 sessions. ($10 per session)

$75 for not yet members

Each participant that finishes all 5 classes will be awarded a

Professional Development Certificate from The Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce.
