Early voting started today! If you reside within the proposed Rural Special School District boundaries, now is your chance to vote FOR the detachment of Rural Special School from the Mountain View School District. It's a very important vote that will allow Rural Special School, if it passes, to once again have its own school district! Early voting is happening on the court square at 111 Peabody St., Mountain View and continues through March 2. Election Day is March 3 at your usual polling site.

Today is Giving Tuesday. What better time to show your support for Rural Special School becoming its own school district again! Our fundraising campaign of $100,000 is underway to cover transitional expenses from March 3 to June 30, 2026 for the new school district.
Donations go to Rural Educational Heritage Inc., a 501(c)(3) local nonprofit, for the benefit of Rural Special School and may be mailed to P.O. Box 145, Fox AR 72051 or paid by debit/credit card through this link. Tinyurl.com/ruralspecial
