In honor of Friendship Day at MMES, our Principal and Dean of Students are proving that friends can cheer for opposing New York baseball teams and still be respectful, kind, and supportive of one another! ⚾️😄

It’s a great reminder for our Falcons that it’s okay to have different opinions and preferences—we can disagree and still treat each other with kindness and respect. 💙

👟🏃‍♂️ P.E. Reminder from Mrs. Sweet! 🏃‍♀️👟

The right shoes make a BIG difference in Physical Education! To help students move safely, comfortably, and confidently during P.E., please make sure they wear appropriate athletic shoes on their scheduled P.E. days.

✅ Great choices: Tennis shoes with laces, Velcro, or secure slip-on athletic styles
❌ Please avoid: Crocs, flip-flops, sandals, slippers, slides, high heels, and boots

Proper footwear helps students:
✔️ Move safely
✔️ Protect their feet
✔️ Participate fully in activities
✔️ Do their best in class

Students are welcome to bring a pair of athletic shoes to change into for P.E. if they prefer not to wear them all day.

Thank you for helping our Falcons come prepared and ready to move, play, and learn! 💙🦅
