The High Cadence riders were out in force last weekend at the Venom XC Race! Here's a quick recap of everyone's results:

Jordyn G.- 1st Place 17-18 Women
Jacob B. - 1st Place 17-18 Men
Jesse S. - 4th Place 13-14 Men
Charlie M. - 6th Place 15-16 Men

Each rider has put in a tremendous amount of work even while motivation has been hard to find amidst the pandemic, and the hard paid off last weekend! You can join the High Cadence riders for as little as $50/month!

Jacob B. was rocking the #1 Plate for the Venom XC today and he did not disappoint coming away with a 1st Place finish in a close 17-18 race! Jordyn G. took off from at the gun and never looked back taking the solo victory in the Women's 17-18! Great start for both riders after a long break from racing!!!

UPDATE!!

Jesse S. finished with a strong 4th place finish in the 13-14 Boys! Jesse was 24 seconds behind 4th with half a lap to go and he was able to close the gap and come away with 4th place by 1 second!

Racing has kicked off at the Venom XC Race this morning and riders are flying through the first lap!

Jacob Baxley is in a small lead group in the 17-18 Men's
Jordyn Gonzales has the solo lead in the 17-18 Women's

2 Laps to go for both of them! Up next is Charlie at 7:10 and Jesse at 8:11, stay tuned for more updates!

Meet Jacob Harrelson the rider that helped start everything at High Cadence Coaching! Jacob started with High Cadence as a beginner and a member of the Boulder Creek High School Team. Jacob is now a captain on the Boulder Creek Team set to graduate in May! Jacob has moved on from High Cadence and now races for Giant Southwest Racing and raced for Hatch Toyota Racing. Glad to see Jacob continuing to chase his dream! Check it out to see how Jacob got from where he was to where he is today!
