Monique's Adult ballet class offer all ages, from baby to seniors. In the year 2000,moved to Los Angeles.

▼IntroductoryBasic Ballet Workshop:
whenever you want to start,we will offer this 6-session workshop for ‘true beginners’ or those who want a refre

sher course with 3 comitted dancers. Covers basic ballet terminology used in ballet, modern and jazz classes; students get terminology sheets. “Q&A” follows each class. Just bring your best effort!


▼Slow Beginner:
Clear explanations of Barre (warm-up) and Center-floor vocabulary; break-down of step ex*****on to build understanding of movement sequences. Great work-out too!


▼Beginner2:
Presumes basic knowledge of ballet terminology, develops strength through repetition and focus on placement and proper technical ex*****on of steps.

▼About Monique Goldwater:
Age 3 she began her ballet training in Japan and France as French Japanese. 13years old Monique was attending the Rosella Hightower International Ballet School in Cannes, France where her formal ballet training began. She also has kept training Japanese style dance in Japan and France. Her professional dance career started at age 15 when she was recruited by the Avignion Opera Ballet. she was dancing with the Normandy Opera Ballet as guest dancer. she performed both classical and contemporary repertoires with both these ballet companies. In Los Angeles she was a soloists with the LA Chamber Ballet and LA Opera . She performed and choreographed several productions include Madama Butterfly. In 2003 she moved to San Francisco, where besides dancing and choreographing, began her pursuit of Japanese classical contemporary dance, In San Francisco she has performed with Takami, Ledoh (Salt Farm), Mary Sano and Golden Gate Opera (as a dancer and choreographer for Madame Butterfly). She choreographed Nova Express at Dance Mission as part of Electronic Dance Festival. Also she has been choreographing Madame Butterfly for Golden Gate Opera since 2005 . Her significant Japanese dance solo performance was Black Rain that was a part of Hiroshima Nagasaki 60th Memorial Day sponsored by Japanese Heritage Society in SF.She has been teaching ballet at Mercy High School in SF.

Kick off summer Picnic 2019 and Honoka's farewell today. It was really beautiful summer weather in bay area. We cerebrate this Summer 2019 and send off Honoka's family to Japan. It was just happened Serina's farewell and our kids 1st casual performance last month. We had a great time to create dance together. Theme was Hana's feather she founded in the park. They were so good and fun!

Mao's baby shower and she delivered her baby "Daich" on 2/11!
Yoko's marriage on 2/17. Monique made a choreography for a gift to her as " First Dance". They did great and dansing beautiful in their wedding party. Congrats!
3/22 Serina became 3 years old! They cerebrated 3/24 as a Princess party! It was so lovely.Happy Birthday! Serina! :D

Pregnancy Beauties ! Kristen 6months and Momoka 2nd baby boy will come next month! She is 9month now!! Serina who is Momoka's first baby has been waiting for her new born brother with BIG smile. Both decided as longest as they can practice ballet with Monique's ballet SF. Momoka said " my backache was gone after jointed this class program.It's amazing! " This both Beautiful voyages will be keep up! We can not wait see their babies.
