Fly Like the Butterfly Educational Series - Learn How You Can Be Set Free

Thank you to those accepting our invites to the page! Just to give a little background about the song that’s included in the first book of the series, it was written by my father, Houston Byrd Jr, when I was around seven years of age. (I am 52 now).

Although I was quite young, I was experiencing some anxiety & fear in school at the time. My Dad wrote the “Fly Like the Butterfly” song during this period of my life. I would dance to the upbeat music & flap my arms around like a butterfly’s wings. I remember feeling free while I danced, & the words to the song have stuck with me my whole life, giving me courage whenever I would feel down.

These two photos from my childhood are of my Mom & I listening to him play the song on his acoustic guitar. I have such fond memories of these times!

My father Houston began writing his first in a series of books that correspond to the song a few years back, & now he has two books currently available. They are educational, inspiring, motivational & most of all, heartfelt. All ages can benefit from the information & wisdom contained within. We sincerely hope you enjoy them!🦋
