This month, We are honoring and celebrating the incredible service, leadership, and legacy of LTC Sawyer as he prepares for retirement after years of dedication to both our country and the Panther Battalion.
Before serving as a Senior Army Instructor for Crowley ISD JROTC, LTC Sawyer proudly served 27 years in the United States Army, with assignments across the United States and around the world, including Korea, Turkey, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Killeen.
For the past 14 years, LTC Sawyer has continued serving others through education, leadership, mentorship, and guidance within the Panther Battalion. He has impacted countless cadets by teaching discipline, responsibility, confidence, and what it truly means to lead.
His leadership has helped shape future leaders both inside and outside of JROTC, and his influence will continue to live on through every cadet he has mentored throughout the years.
Thank you, LTC Sawyer, for your dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to this program and our community. We wish you nothing but happiness and success as you begin this next chapter with your family and loved ones.
Your legacy will forever remain part of the Panther Battalion.
