Study in London this summer and be inspired! The program is interdisciplinary and is available for students from any major. and B.S. July 5- July 27, 2013
Live like a Londoner and be inspired by one of the world's most exciting and cosmopolitan cities, an international hub for music, art, science, theatre, and literature. Site-based instruction means that we will use the city of London as a text, incorporating excursions to culturally, politically and historically meaningful places into the study of leadership. We visit sites such as Tower of London
, Westminster Abbey, Hampton Court, Churchill's Cabinet War Rooms, The Royal Courts of Justice, Freud's London home and Darwin's natural laboratory. We will travel to Oxford, cruise the Thames to Greenwich, and attend a performance at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Three-day weekends are built into the program to allow students time for independent exploration and travel. Students earn 3 or 6 hours of credit in sociology, anthropology, or criminal justice. Students may take 1 or 2 of the following courses:
SOCI 30923 Social and Cultural Contexts of Leadership (CSV, GA
