Most parents don't realize there's a problem until their child is already struggling. By then, they're playing catch-up, school becomes more stressful, motivation starts to drop, and those calls from the teacher begin.
The best time to build strong academic and executive function skills is before those challenges become bigger.
If you've noticed your child struggling with organization, focus, homework, time management, or learning, now is the time to act.
Fall semester begins September 7.
If your child could benefit from extra support, reach out. Getting ahead now can make all the difference in how the school year unfolds.

I always start my parent equipping sessions with the same question:
“Give me ONE win… no matter how small.” ❤️
Two of my families who have children with VERY challenging meltdowns and resistance shared that over the last two weeks… the meltdowns significantly decreased. Why? Because they implemented ONE strategy.
Now listen… I give families LOTS of strategies 😂
But they picked ONE simple, practical, doable thing and actually used it consistently.
And in their own words:
“I did _____ and saw a significant decrease in meltdowns.”
Y’ALL. I was sooooo happy!!!!
And this happened FAST… within TWO WEEKS.
The families who come to me are not parents who “haven’t tried enough.”
These are intentional, exhausted, loving parents who have flipped over EVERY rock looking for answers.
They’ve tried:
• play therapy
• counseling
• ABA therapy
• medication
• reward charts
• consequences
• all the things
And yet… ONE strategy helped reduce meltdowns. COME ON!!!! 🙌
I actually started as a learning therapist and ended up becoming a behavior therapist because no one could tell me what to do with one of my own children. The “experts” had no answers for us. Don’t even get me started on some of the things I allowed professionals to do because I was desperate for help.
So… I learned.
I researched.
I practiced.
And guess what? It worked.
Now I spend my time equipping parents online when tough love, soft love, sticker charts, lectures, and “just count to 10” are NOT working.
I’ve worked with some VERY challenging behaviors. And families leave my program with:
✔️ answers
✔️ practical tools
✔️ understanding
✔️ hope
Because every child, teen, and young adult WANTS to do well.
But if you don’t address the FIVE central areas that affect behavior, executive function, emotional regulation, and learning… you stay stuck.
You need tools rooted in:
🧠 brain profile
💪 the body
🏡 the environment
❤️ nervous system regulation
📚 practical research-based strategies
Not just “take deep breaths.” 😅
As a mom and a learning & behavior therapist, I do whatever it takes to equip families… because WE were that family.
And that makes this deeply personal to me. ❤️

Moms—quick thought going into summer…
If your child or teen struggled this year (with learning, focus, behavior, or confidence), waiting until fall usually makes it harder.
Summer is actually the best time to catch up and get ahead.
No pressure. No grades. Just space to build skills, routines, and confidence.
You don’t need hours a day—just the right support and consistency.
I work with kids and teens to close academic gaps and strengthen behavior so they walk into the school year ready, not already behind.
If that’s something your child needs, feel free to message me.
