🕰️ When: 9:00 am-11:30 am, 1:00 pm-3:30 pm, and 5:00 pm-8:00 pm
🧑‍🎓 Pick up your cap and gown
🎓 Decorate your cap
📸 Get your senior portrait taken by a professional photographer, sessions are from 10:30-2:30 pm and 5:00-8:00 pm each day

🎓✨ Senior Spotlight: Angelica Calvillo ✨🎓

Angelica has been connected to her advisor for over 15 years, making this milestone especially meaningful. When she learned about New Heights, she reached out with determination, asking how she could enroll and finish what she started. Without hesitation, she was welcomed with pride and support, beginning a journey guided every step of the way.

During her time at New Heights, Angelica has persevered through many challenges. As a devoted mom to two energetic and wonderful boys, she has worked tirelessly to balance school while always putting her children first. Through it all, she has set a powerful example for her family, showing that it is never too late to pursue your education and your dreams. ❤️

Angelica is graduating with her high school diploma along with a certification in Phlebotomy, an incredible accomplishment that reflects her determination and resilience.

Angelica’s story is a testament to perseverance and heart, and she will always have a village supporting her as she takes her next steps.

🎓✨ Senior Spotlight: Kendra Howard-Horn ✨🎓

Kendra has been a dedicated student at New Heights High School since the very moment the school opened its doors. From day one, she has set an example of what it means to be committed, driven, and intentional about her education.

Kendra consistently goes above and beyond in the classroom, striving not only for her own success but also uplifting those around her. She is a strong advocate, not just for herself, but for her fellow students, always finding ways to support, encourage, and help others succeed. 💙

Throughout her New Heights journey, Kendra has shown incredible leadership, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference. She will be graduating with her high school diploma along with a certification in Entrepreneurship & Small Business, a true reflection of her hard work and forward-thinking mindset. 👏

Our Med students are hard at work training in CPR, Narcan, and Skills Lab as they get ready for their EKG & Phlebotomy certification exams this month.

With graduation just around the corner, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our incredible grads! 🎓✨ First up we have Alma Calzada Arevalo!

Alma joined New Heights in September 2024 as one of the pioneers of New Heights. Alma has been an incredible, gentle and exceptional student ever since. She has been successfully completing her classes, showing dedication, discipline, and a strong commitment to her future endeavors.

Her advisor says she is very proud of Alma for being a strong and dedicated student. Undermining the obstacles, Alma still stood strong, focused and on track to graduate from New Heights. This is a great achievement!

Kicking off Team Appreciation Week with a galactic celebration! 🚀🪐

We launched Day 1 in true Star Wars style with awesome costumes, tasty breakfast, and a coffee bar thanks to Café con galletas to fuel our hardworking team. ☕️

If April had a theme, it would be Resources & Relationships! 🤝

Last month, our students had access to incredible opportunities through our Lunch & Learns, with visits from the City of Fort Worth Code Compliance and Cook Children's. They shared valuable insights on career paths, job requirements, and workplace culture.

We also welcomed Amy Callaway from United Way of Tarrant County 2-1-1 to our McCart campus, where students learned about free, 24/7 health and human services that support needs like food, housing, childcare, crisis counseling, and more.

New Heights is about empowering students with knowledge and connections! 🧠
