is an “Empowerment” trainer,Education Consultant and Youth Advocate who specializes in organizational, community, youth and young adult leadership. He was Born and raised in the Eastwood/Stop 6 neighborhood of Fort Worth, TX and alum of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. As a former United States Marine and Iraqi War veteran, Junichi applies his understanding of the importance of establishing a “Mi

ssion” to the pursuit of passion and purpose, as well as the consequences of quitting before you can declare “Mission Accomplished.”
He has served as the Lead Instructor for the “Images in the Mirror” Leadership Training Program, and Empowerment Guide for the Young Men’s Alliance. Junichi transfers his deep passion for empowering youth and young adults through promoting the “Soldier Mentality” which focuses on accomplishing life missions by balancing education, empowerment and entertainment and positively impacting family, community and future generations. Lockett further volunteers as a mentor for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and is Co-Founder of “We Got Next” Youth and Young Adult Leadership Movement. Junichi seeks to incorporate all his God given talents, including poetry and vocal music, therefore making his programs “Edu-taining.”
After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he was Political Actions Chair for the NAACP and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc, he entered the trenches of urban education as an elementary school teacher. Now he is a Co-Founder of the non-profit arm, Success Movement Village Project, which serves the community in Mentoring, Training and Community Organizing. Which the organization recently lead campaign operations for Team Rickie Clark Campaign for City Council in Fort Worth, TX which Junichi served on the campaign management team as Campaign Coordinator. “We are not here to toss pebbles; we are here to move mountains.”
