Hello all, my name is Ron Burns, I was in Ft Worth for a few years but relocated with family to Dayton Ohio. Since then, We have started a Rec4Heroes / Dayton. As Director, I started a program with lots of help from great people. Two locations The Dayton Vet Center first with a Guitar class program. Then a Ukulele Program. While that was going on we were then invited to start a Guitar Program at the Dayton VA. We would like to thank our folks at the VA and The Vet Center, and all my friends who came out to create the Dayton Guitars 4 Heroes Band to perform and raise the money that supports our cause and Organization. Art Nitsch who is the Assistant Director has been on board since the beginning including Instructor for the guitar class at the Vet Center. The rest of the band, Thanks guys. And Dennis and Cheri, My Ukulele Instructor and Guitar Instructor at the VA. All you guys I couldn’t have done none of it without you. Thanks to the Rec4Heroes in Fort Worth. All one big family. Donna, Stacy, Bob, Billy, And Taylor and anyone one else I may have missed.

We are hoping to have sessions for the guitar program back up and operational this Fall.
We have put together some material on basic use of a Digital Audio Workstation for any veteran who may be interested. It will teach you to set up a DAW in your home and build basic recording projects. Great way to pass the time while on lock down.

We completed another recording session with the advanced class. The song is coming along... vocals next week!
