Our teachers are in full prep mode with classes beginning next week!

They recently spent a training day together preparing for the new school year and praying over the students and families they will serve. The morning and lunch were spent with the full Emmanuel Christian School Fort Wayne staff, discussing school-wide policies, procedures, and vision. In the afternoon, our teachers focused on HRC-specific details and had the opportunity to get into their classrooms.

We are so excited for the year ahead!

What a fun night at the secondary Emmanuel Christian School Fort Wayne back-to-school ice cream social!

It was wonderful to see both parts of the ECS community — HRC students and full-time ECS students — come together to see old friends, meet new ones, and get ready for the school year ahead.

We’re thankful for this unique community!

As part of Emmanuel Christian School Fort Wayne, we provide a strong transition from traditional homeschool co-ops and community programs into the academic demands of high school, dual credit courses, college preparation, and adulthood.

Students learn from caring, qualified teachers who use high-quality curriculum taught from a Biblical worldview. Weekly live classes are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays at our Westview Alliance site in southwest Fort Wayne. Students also receive daily homework assignments to reinforce and practice the concepts introduced in class.

Our small classroom settings, typically 12–18 students, allow for hands-on activities, meaningful discussions, and personal connection. Study halls are offered each session, and students also benefit from field trips, guest speakers, shared school resources, transcript guidance, tutoring, chapel devotions, fine arts shows, teen game nights, catered fun lunches or snack booths, opportunities to assist with service projects, PTF events, and more.

Together, these academic and community experiences make HRC a unique and valuable option for homeschool families.
