Here are some common misconceptions about disabled professionals, along with the facts that debunk them. These biases often stem from a lack of understanding and can create unnecessary barriers in the workplace

Perceived personality traits
* Misconception: Disabled people lack motivation or ambition.
* Fact: The desire to work exists, but disabled people often face barriers to employment. Many disabled professionals are highly motivated and have strong ambitions for career growth and advancement, just like anyone else.
* Misconception: Disabled people need to be protected from failure.
* Fact: Just like all employees, disabled professionals have a right to experience both success and failure as part of the learning process. Holding them to the same standards as their peers is not only fair but also essential for growth.
