Love this so much!
Mindful May is here 🌸🧠
A whole month of small, simple practices to help you slow down, tune in, and take care of your inner world—one moment at a time.
Because mindfulness doesn’t have to mean hours of meditation…
It can look like:
✨ Taking a few deep breaths before opening your emails
✨ Noticing what you’re grateful for today
✨ Sending a kind message to a friend
✨ Pausing to really feel your feelings
Tiny actions → powerful shifts 💛
Save this calendar and come back to it each day, or just pick one that feels right for you. There’s no “perfect” way to do this—just start where you are.
Which one are you trying first? 👇
With appreciation to Six Seconds 💛

Teacher Appreciation Week is here, and I didn’t want it to pass without doing something small to give back 🤍
So this week, I’m doing TWO giveaways.
One for educators
One for a program team
Because the work you do matters, even on the days it doesn’t feel like it.
First one drops tomorrow evening 👀

This week is a reminder of something that can be easy to forget in the middle of busy, messy, full days.
The work you do matters.
Not just the big milestones or the picture perfect moments, but the quiet, everyday ones.
Sitting beside a child who needs comfort.
Helping them try again.
Noticing what others might miss.
Those moments are shaping how children see themselves, others, and the world around them.
Even when it feels routine, it isn’t.
Even when it feels unnoticed, it’s not.
During Teacher Appreciation Week, I hope you feel valued for the work you do and the way you show up every day.
Because it matters more than you know.

Grateful to spend the day speaking at a local early childhood conference this weekend 💛
We talked about what it really looks like to keep showing up for children while also taking care of ourselves in the process. Not perfectly, not all figured out, but intentionally.
These moments remind me why Hope Forward exists. Educators deserve support, reflection, and space to grow too.
If you were there, I’d love to hear what stuck with you most.

Today I’m at the BY5 Early Childhood Professionals Summit and so excited to be here.
I’ll be presenting two sessions today:
Refill. Rise. Restore. How to Stop Running on Empty
When Behavior Speaks
I’m also exhibiting, so if you’re here, I’d love for you to stop by and say hi.
I’m hosting a giveaway that includes copies of Rooted & Rising: An 8-Week Guided Journal for Educators along with coaching sessions. Stop by to sign up and be entered, and winners will be contacted after the conference.
Come connect, enter the giveaway, and learn more about how Hope Forward supports educators through meaningful, practical, and restorative trainings.
Hope to see you there.
