In Kabbalah, the spoken word counts for more or equal to the written word in its authority. Philosophy always likes the spoken word more than the written word or letter of the law. The letter of the law is man made making it an unnatural fruit unfit for philosophical consumption. We like the spoken word for its alliteration (or seed) more than the letter of the law (the Fruit of god). We like the first letter‘s sound, in other words, more than rune or letter for philosophical alliteration. If philosophy is the tree of knowledge of good and evil… religion ,or its counter, would be the tree of life.
