The Hangover Whisperer For high achieving professional women who want to reduce alcohol consumption by 80 percent--you don't have to quit. Get happy, not sober. You don't have to quit.

It's not about the alcohol. Do you drink more than you want to? My name is Colleen Kachmann and I'm the world's first intuitive drinking coach. I work with high achieving, professional women to reduce alcohol consumption by 80 percent. Because alcohol isn't the problem--any more than razors are the problem for people who cut themselves. You're bored, stuck and overwhelmed. All at the same time. And the goal-oriented strategies that make you a badass in other areas of your life are making this worse, not better. The harder you try to control your drinking, the more you fail. It's a downward spiral. You already know that when you have a good reason to abstain or drink in moderation, you can. So you don't actually lack discipline and willpower. You've just run out of f**k's to give at the end of the day because you're living for everyone but yourself. The solution to alcohol use disorder is a feeling. If you felt powerful, confident and relaxed, you would drink like someone who feels powerful, confident and relaxed. This isn't complicated. Get happy. Not sober.

Willpowering your way through Sober October won’t fix your relationship with alcohol. Here’s why…

You can go 31 days without a single drink and still end up right back where you started on November 1st.

Because taking alcohol away doesn’t change the reason you wanted it in the first place…

If you’ve spent years using w**e to unwind after stressful days, your brain has learned to associate drinking with relief.

And no amount of white-knuckling through October is going to magically erase that connection…

You might make it through the entire month. You might even sleep better, feel healthier, and convince yourself you’ve finally gotten control.

But then November comes around, work gets overwhelming, the kids need you, and suddenly that glass of w**e sounds pretty damn good again…

That’s because you’ve been treating the symptom instead of addressing the actual problem.

You don’t need more willpower. You need to stop relying on alcohol to manage your stress.

When you learn how to regulate your nervous system and give yourself the relief you actually need throughout the day, drinking stops feeling like a necessity.

That’s how you become someone who can genuinely take it or leave it, without counting drinks, making rules, or waiting for another Sober October.

If pouring a drink is the only time you let yourself stop, cutting back can feel like one more thing you have to push through.

And you’re already pushing through enough.

When I work with women who are capable in every other area of their lives, I’m interested in more than how much they drink.

Can you sit down without explaining why you deserve to?
Can you leave something unfinished without spending your entire break thinking about it?
Can you enjoy an evening that you haven’t “earned”?

Those questions tell us something a drink count can’t.

Get Happy, Not Sober starts tomorrow, October 9. Join me to understand why one glass keeps turning into three and start learning how to interrupt that pattern.

Friday and Sunday are free to attend. Comment EVENT for the link.

For 15 years, I drank alcohol every single night. Then I stopped drinking completely for 3 years.

Today, I drink moderately, and I actually enjoy it more than being sober. Let me explain…

There was a time when I could easily finish one or even two bottles of w**e in a night. Eventually, even that wasn’t enough…

I started drinking half a bottle of vodka at a time. I knew I couldn’t keep treating my body that way. So I made a huge decision…

I quit drinking overnight. No gradual reduction. And initially, everything seemed better…

My sleep improved, I woke up feeling refreshed, and my mind was sharper. But eventually, something became obvious…

Even without alcohol, I still wasn’t happy. I’d eliminated the drinking, but I hadn’t addressed what was driving me to drink…

I was constantly putting other people first, taking on everyone’s responsibilities, and neglecting myself. And if you’re doing the same thing, I understand…

That’s why I built a community for women who want to focus on finding happiness, rather than making sobriety their only goal. Visit the link in my bio to become part of it.

If you’re crushing it in every part of your life but still relying on alcohol to shut your brain off at night, the problem isn’t your willpower willpower. It’s your refusal to listen to what your body is telling you.

I had four kids and a full-time job. I ran marathons and taught hot yoga on the weekends, yet every night I’d come home and polish off a bottle of w**e. If that sounds like you and you’re ready to reduce your drinking without getting sober, click the link in the bio and schedule a free discovery call.

Sober October won’t change your relationship with alcohol if you spend the entire month waiting for November.

I know because I was great at not drinking when I had decided I wasn’t drinking.

I could do a week. A month. Whatever I needed to prove to myself.

But I spent the entire break thinking about when I could drink again.

I wasn’t learning how to take it or leave it.

I was just leaving it until the calendar said I could have it again.

That was what drove me fu***ng crazy.

I could go 31 days without a drink and still not get one day off from thinking about it.

By five o’clock, I wasn’t craving the taste of w**e.

I was craving the part where I got to be done.

Done working. Done making decisions. Done being patient with everyone. Done thinking about everything I still needed to do.

W**e was the only thing that could get my brain to stop giving me another assignment.

After thousands of conversations with women about their drinking, I can tell you most of them say some version of:

“I know I can stop. I just don’t want it to be this hard.”

Taking alcohol away doesn’t teach you how to relax, turn your brain off, or feel okay when nothing is finished.

You keep trying to remove the w**e without replacing what it does for you.

Of course you still want it.

If you’re doing Sober October, don’t spend the next three weeks white-knuckling your way to November 1.

Use this month to figure out why you want alcohol so badly in the first place.

That’s exactly what we’re doing during Get Happy, Not Sober, live October 9, 10 and 11.

General Admission is completely free.

You’ll get access to Friday’s live Find It workshop and Sunday’s live coaching and conversation.

No quitting. No labels. No lecture.

Comment EVENT and we’ll send you the free registration link.
