PRINCIPAL FOR THE DAY AT JEFFERSON! ⚽️

As part of a district-wide initiative, Jefferson Middle School had the opportunity to invite a community member to join us as “Principal for the Day!” This year, we were excited to welcome Kassie Taksey, Chief Revenue Officer of Fort Wayne FC!

Jefferson has a rich history of successful soccer programs, so having Kassie join us was a perfect fit! During her visit, she greeted students as they arrived, met with our staff, helped with announcements, and visited classrooms throughout the building.

We’re also excited to continue our partnership with Fort Wayne FC by hosting a Jefferson Middle School Night at an upcoming FWFC home soccer game! ⚽️🧡

🎉 FIRST 20 DAYS ATTENDANCE INCENTIVE! 🎉
We kicked off the school year with our “First 20 Days of School” incentive! To be eligible, students had to be at school and on time for all 20 days.
We are excited to share that nearly 50% of our student body qualified! 🙌👏

🎉 Congratulations to all of these kiddos! Your commitment to being at school every day and arriving on time deserves to be celebrated!

Even more impressive, 75% of our Jefferson students missed 2 days or fewer during the first 20 days of school! 💪

📚 Attendance matters! Being at school every day gives our students the best opportunity to learn, grow, and be successful.

We are off to a GREAT start, Jefferson! We can't wait to see what the rest of the school year brings!
Go Patriots! 🧡🖤
