The Longest Line! The students drew one long continuous line. Then they created shapes over top and colored in each shape using a different color scheme!

4 talented ninth graders recently entered the River Valley Art Competition with these amazing works of art.
Congratulations to Jillian Coats on earning The Director's Award with her original work " Happy Mask Salesman". The director was so impressed with her work that she gave her this award, and it's the first time it's ever been awarded!
I'm so proud of ALL of these young ladies! I will certainly miss them next year when they go to Northside.

8th graders learned about the Huichol Indians and created yarn paintings that incorporated symbols that were important to them. Each image is created completely out of different colors and textures of yarn. I'm so impressed with how they turned out!!

9th graders are just finishing their acetate portraits in acrylic and mounted them on a watercolor background. They turned out so well!!
