🎉🌎 Our Hispanic Heritage Celebration was AMAZING! 💃🏽🎶

Our scholars had such a wonderful time learning about Hispanic culture and traditions! They sampled delicious foods, explored beautiful art, pottery, and sculptures, and learned about the richness of Hispanic heritage.

And the dancing was definitely a highlight! 💃🏽🕺🏽 Our students had so much fun learning salsa, merengue, and cumbia dances! 🎶

It was a day filled with learning, culture, food, music, art, and lots of fun! ❤️

We’re already looking forward to making next year’s celebration even bigger and better!

🙏 God Sees You! 🙏

Our chapel service was powerful today! Our sermon topic was “God Sees You.”

The disciples were in a ship when a storm arose, but Jesus saw them in the midst of the storm and came walking on the water to help them. 🌊⛵

What a beautiful reminder for our scholars: Even when we go through storms in life, God sees us. We are never forgotten, and He is there to help us. ❤️

📖 “And he saw them toiling in rowing…” — Mark 6:48

No matter what you are facing, remember: God sees you, God knows where you are, and God will come to your aid! 🙌🏽

Words are powerful!

Our students worked in teams to put toothpaste back into the tube using toothpicks! 🪥 They quickly discovered how difficult it was to undo what had already come out. In the same way, once unkind words leave our mouths, it is difficult to take them back. This memorable challenge reminded us to pause, choose our words carefully, and use them to encourage and build one another up. 💛

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying…” — Ephesians 4:29 (KJV)🩷

Our scholars are learning about the pumpkin life cycle and the parts of a plant! 🌱 They placed pumpkin seeds between damp paper towels inside ziplock bags and are excited to see them beginning to sprout. Hands-on learning helps us watch the life cycle unfold right before our eyes!

We played “Sword in Hand” during chapel today! 📖 Our students were excited to find and read the Bible verses that were called out. We loved seeing those Bible pages turning as they searched God’s Word together.
