Crystal Clear Floral Heart Charms

Supplies:

1 cup clear school glue
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp cornstarch
Silicone heart mold
Fresh miniature flowers or pressed flowers
Small mixing bowl
Measuring cup with spout
Toothpick or skewer

Instructions:

Prepare the flowers
Gently pat the flowers dry. Fresh flowers work best if they are very small and thin. Pressed flowers also work well for a flatter result.
Arrange the mold
Place the flowers face-down into the silicone heart mold. Arrange them carefully so the front of the flowers will show clearly once removed.
Make the clear mixture
In a bowl, whisk together:
1 cup clear glue
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp cornstarch

Mix slowly until smooth and glossy with minimal bubbles.

Pour carefully
Slowly pour the clear mixture into each mold cavity until completely filled. Use a toothpick to pop any air bubbles and gently reposition flowers if needed.
Let cure
Allow the charms to dry undisturbed for 24–48 hours depending on thickness and room temperature. They should become firm and translucent.
Remove from mold
Carefully peel the silicone mold away from the finished hearts.
Optional finishing
Add a small hole before fully cured for keychains or jewelry
Seal with a thin layer of clear craft resin or gloss glaze for a more glass-like finish
Attach jump rings, ribbon, or chain
