World Mental Health Day

Today is a reminder that taking care of ourselves — and one another — matters.

Sometimes support begins with something as simple as checking in, listening, reaching out or letting someone know they’re not alone. As an Alumni Association, we believe the connections made at Indian River State College can extend far beyond graduation.

Today, we encourage our alumni and friends to take a moment for themselves — and to check in on someone they care about.

Stay connected. Be kind. Take care of yourself and each other.

We want to know YOUR River story!

We’re excited to introduce the newly elected board of the Student Alumni & Philanthropy Club! These student leaders are helping us build something special from the ground up, and we can’t wait to see where their energy, ideas and leadership take us.

Together, they’ll help their fellow students understand what it means to become an alumnus of Indian River State College—that graduation isn’t the end of their connection to the College, but the beginning of a lifelong relationship. They’ll also help us build a culture of philanthropy, showing students that giving back isn’t just about dollars—it’s about sharing your time, talents and resources to make a difference for others. 💛💚

We can’t wait to see the impact this inaugural board will make!

...and a good time was had by all at Cafecito (with a Hot Chocolate Bar, sponsored by the Alumni Association!). Cafecito is an engagement event for students, faculty, and staff to connect and enjoy a break, a treat, and some terrific beverages.

Dinner, Cupcakes & BINGO—Oh My!

The Indian River State College Alumni Association loved treating our River Hammock residents to a Chick-fil-A dinner! Student Life made the evening even sweeter with cupcakes and a little friendly competition with BINGO.

Good food, good fun, and a great night spent with our students!
