Mrs. Barksdale & Mrs. Goza’s class had so much fun watching the butterfly life cycle over the last few weeks! 🦋

They observed their caterpillars grow, form their chrysalis, and transform into beautiful butterflies before releasing them into the world. Such a fun experience!

To close out our ocean theme, we learned that the Great Blue Whale is the largest animal in the world! 🐋

To help the students better understand just how BIG a blue whale really is, we measured one out and drew it with chalk outside. Even using all of the classrooms, we still didn’t come close to matching its full length! It was such a fun hands-on way to bring learning to life and really put its size into perspective for our students. 💙
